Swedish Summer Dinner At The Smidhagens

This morning Joakim and i had a lovely ride to the florist which ended up with us chaining our bikes to a fence and walking the rest of the way in the heavy rain. It was sooo fun! Splashing in every puddle in sight. Of course we were soaked to the bone by the time we got back. The first pix is of glamarously wet Joakim and our gorgeous gerberas in my basket!*30 gerberas! All ready to be put on the dinner table for tonight's dinner.

Sorelle, Nick & Brig were over for a swedish dinner. We made our signature swedish meatball dish with potatotoes and jam, chicken pesto, pasta aglio olio, smoked salmon. minced chicken cups, greek salad and chai latte with chocolate biscuits that nick picked out for dessert. The theme for tonights dinner was Swedish Summer, so all the colours were bright and cheery *and mostly pink! And everyone had "Good Mix " Swedish Candy to take home! :)

We had a great time catching up, nothing like having good friends over for loads of laughter and happy vibbies!
