Our Wedding - Fort Canning, Raffles House - 19th July 2007
The best day of our lives ....and it passed in a flash! Time flies when you're having fun!! We only managed to pull off the wedding with 2 months of planning with the help of mum and abah, my darling sisters, riz, hafiz, Zain, moral support from my gorgeous friends and of course my aunts, uncles, cousins, grandma's, and everyone who we just only have realised cared for us so deeply. Thank you!
One of the bigest part of the wedding was that my darling dadima was not present. I'm so glad that Joakim got to meet her though. She passed away just a week before our wedding and had already picked out what she was going to wear. She was always so much fun to be around and was always so loving too. My dadima insisted i had henna done for my wedding (i've never been too big on the idea) so eventhough she wasnt around to see it, i made sure i had henna done the night before, a quiet gathering with just my sisters and i as a tiny (but so meaningful to me) tribute to my ever so loving and beautiful dadima...love you.
